Legal Counsel

Job Description : 1. Strong background on transactional drafting. Reviews the legal aspects ensuring compliance and business results 2. Draft, negotiate and close a wide variety of complex commercial transactions. Representative matters include; Service Level Agreements of long term nature ; international interconnection and software license agreements; dealer agreements; development and distribution agreements; strategic alliances; joint marketing agreements; intellectual property and software license agreements; technology vendor agreements and facilities and real estate agreements. 3. To look after and track all litigation relating to Entertainment Tax all over India. 4. To co-ordinate with the Tax department in Finance and provide inputs for drafting replies to notices received from E. Tax authorities all over India. 5. Co-ordinating with counsels for making petitions/ for replies to be filed before authorities. 6. Functional expertise in handling Direct/ Indirect Tax litigation. 7. Good drafting and presentation skills for correspondence with government authorities. 8. Experience in handling litigation upto High Court Level for both direct and indirect taxation.
