Responsibilities:
o Work with functional teams to gather requirements, design quality solutions, and create development specifications
o Develop solutions in highly customized SAP system
o Strong problem solving skills, should be able to do a thorough impact analysis independently during the design phase for existing applications
o Conduct reviews on designs and code
o History of meeting or exceeding deadlines in uncertain environments, and delivering high quality results
o Provide on-going support of existing ABAP code
o Proven ability to appropriately identify, take ownership, and focus on highest priority tasks
o Manage multiple and competing priorities
o Ability to manage time effectively according to priorities and timelines
o Must be self-motivated, possess the ability to take on projects and tasks with little direction, and apply good judgment and decision-making skills
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as strong interpersonal skills. As a result, the qualified candidate must be able to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences including other software engineers, developers, as well as business end-users
o Provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced developers
o Provide realistic development estimates
o Clearly communicate project expectations and solutions to team members and business users
